Leaders in Business are required to deliver more than just day to day management of their employees.
They are responsible and accountable for entire divisions of a business, to oversee the quality of work being produced and are required to coach and mentor their own staff to achieve the wider strategic direction of the business.
The Apprenticeship Levy
The Apprenticeship Levy was introduced in April 2017 as a compulsory tax on employers to supporting funding the development and delivery of apprenticeships. Any employer will an annual payroll cost in excess of £3m per annum is required to pay 0.5% which is then available to the employer to pay for training and development through apprenticeships.
Each employer receives an annual allowance of £15,000 meaning that if your payroll is less than £3m then you are there is no levy to pay. The apprenticeship levy funds in your account can be used to pay for apprenticeship training and assessment for apprentices that work at least 50% of the time in England, and only up to the funding band maximum for that apprenticeship. If you do not have sufficient funds available in your account then you are required to co-invest towards the cost of the apprenticeship which is currently 5% of any amounts not covered by your levy. The government will contribute the additional 95%.

Our expertise in Leadership and Management places us perfectly to work with you, as an employer, in developing your own internal leaders and managers through an apprenticeship utilising your levy funds available. Our range of programmes can be tailored towards your industry as well as providing the robust leadership and management skills that all business require.
